Ring Sizing Guide

Ring Sizing Guide for both Men and Women
You’ll want any ring you purchase to fit you well, so how can you measure your ring size with confidence? Discovering your ring size can be as simple as heading to your local jeweler and having your finger measured, but there is also an easy way to assess your ring size at home. All you need is string (dental floss or a strip of paper will work), a pen, and a measuring tape or ruler.

How to measure:

It may be helpful to measure your finger in warm temperatures and at the end of the day. The average ring size for women is a 7, and the average for men is a size 10. Your dominant hand is often 1/2 size larger. Some people choose a size larger than measured for more comfort.

Step 1: Cut a string that is about 6 inches long. Fold the string around the base of the finger, just below the knuckle.

Step 2: Mark where the string ends with a pen.

Step 3: Place the measured string on the ruler with the area marked on your right. The number closest to the pen mark is the circumference of the ring in millimeters.
